It looks like he has 2 pair with an Ace kicker so I don't think he's calling a push anyway, but since he's probably not going to call much of a value bet either, and is likely to check-behind I think you either a) push b) check-raise or give him a free showdown when he wouldn't call off much more money anyway. Give A priority unless you're fairly certain that he will be something on the river.

Betting the flop is feasible. It's already a large pot and it wouldn't hurt to get in money while you're ahead.

If you don't bet the flop, IMO you have to bet the turn - if nothing else, to build a pot that you can push into on the river.

I doubt that with this pot size that a river push will be called unless this guy is doing something silly like "slowplaying" an overpair.

I think the flop check is OK but if you check the flop you have to bet the turn. Maybe someone will call you with ace high or a flush draw. It looks like you're just going all-in out of frustration because you didn't succeed in building the pot like you wanted to.

Thanks smiff, I probably deserved that one.
The table was limping and folding a lot. So, I wanted someone to at least hit a face card and start the betting. I ended up pushing and the last guy folded. I try to mix up my monster play by sometimes slowplaying and sometimes betting and raising hard, maybe I should bet most of them harder.

Besides not building the pot on the turn and flop, as far as the river goes I would bet pretty small, between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pot, enough to get a call from an ace or a mid pocket pair (unlikely) but small enough where some one with a ten will feel compelled to reraise. You might even get a reraise bluff from an aggressive player who feels youre playing the ass end of the fully or something weaker.

But pushing on the river eliminates a crying call with two pair ace kicker as well as the possibility of a bluff.
Me? I always tell the truth.

Even when I lie.
