first raiser is tnn - probably the best (results) reg at 100nl on FT. He plays around 150k hands a month. Positionally aware, and a decent range variation by position pre-flop. I have him running 6ptBB/100 over a 15k sample. We go to war quite a bit (especially now that i know that he likes to 3-bet fold, and since i 5-bet shoved him with AKs and his KK held), but so far we're within a couple of buyins of breakeven against each other (I'm up). Anyway, against him and here it's a sometimes 3-bet/sometimes flat situation - position and knowledge of his post-flop play means either is fine. Unless someone else gets involved...
the 3-better is a non-reg seemingly aggro fish running 18-13 and already 3-bet a few times in under 100 hands, no showdown to expose 3-bet range though.... I need a plan
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
MP3 ($201)
CO ($100)
Button ($201.35)
SB ($101.20)
BB ($113.40)
UTG ($69)
UTG+1 ($146.95)
MP1 ($234.10)
Hero (MP2) ($100)
Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q , Q
UTG calls $1, UTG+1 calls $1, MP1 raises to $6, Hero calls $6, 4 folds, BB raises to $22, 3 folds, jamming here seems like a good way to get into trouble, calling seems difficult post-flop, folding seems far too weak...

I think I call here, I think his range is too polarised for us to shove here (ie I think he has AA/KK/AK/air instead of TT+,AQ+.)
Obviously against the range I posted you can shove profitably, I just think calling is going to be better and get him to fire again post-flop with his air which I think makes up the majority of his range.

Ive played with tnn quite a bit myself, and hes definitely capable of viewing the agro mp's raise as simply an attempt to iso the limpers, and is thus repoping trying to steal the pot. Also as hes fairly solid hed be doing with with a polarised range most of the time. My first instinct was to simply make it 55 to go and get it in, but now im reasonably happy to see a flop, though im a bit worried about mp comin in as well :/.

If there is a hint of a bluff in his range along with JUST AK/KK/AA then shove

o yeah my bad, I wouldnt str8 shove, just make a standard 4 bet, maybe a little bigger and get it in if shoved on, i still think flatting is ok but my original instinct was to 4 bet/get it in so i guess i should go with that.

Raise preflop so you don't get yourself into this kind of trouble. If you make it $18 and BB makes it $40 you have a clear idea of where you are. Now you have to risk that $40. Calling I think was a mistake.
Flop you're still information free, fire on it, just because checking and folding in this situation don't make sense, and since you checked preflop (weak), you might even be +EV to call a shove after you fire.

do you think he's overshoving anything weaker than AAKK9 here?

this hand sucks. I probably check behind on the flop and see what he is going to do in later streets.

Do you think he can call enough with AK/AQ or JJ/TT here for a shove to be profitable?

AK and AQ pwn QQ on an AA9 flop? He's not calling with JJ or TT, I mean that's wtflol, OPs range is pretty much JJ+, AK.
