I had pocket queens and the way this guy bet I thought he was AK . Turned out he had pocket 6's and flopped a set.. Should I have called his all in here? I just can't see being scared of a set everytime you have an overpair.

if you put him on AKcc or some other flush draw and he hits the turn, why stack off drawing dead?

Why not push the flop? what was your plan?

his raise on the flop might have me a little concerned. The vast majority of micro-stakes players don't raise on a draw.

That said, if you put him on a huge flush draw, why wait until he potentially hits on the turn to call his AI? Also, why check-call?

If you figured you were ahead, I think the time to get your chips in is on the flop.

When you call on the flop the turn card tells you to fold anyway.

first don't post results, it just biases future responses.

As far as the hand, I think you have to decide what you're going to do on the flop. There's less then a pot sized bet behind after he raises, and the flop is very drawy. Push or fold here. FWIW given that stacks are somewhat shorter then normal and you raised so much preflop, I usually just push here and hope for the best. If he can't play a flush draw or a mid pair like this, just fold.

Sorry for posting results. Yeah I know I went in without a plan. I'm new at this and still getting my bearings. So the consensus is to either fold to a strong flop bet from him or push all in on the flop right?
