Villain is 35/8/2.5 over 200 hands. We're playing on a couple of tables together and have gotten into it a few times. We've both been aggressive and have only showdown once, when I beat his turned set with a turned flush and took most of his stack. Against other opps, he's shown down one bluff and a couple of nice hands.

well he took the "i have a monster line." do you think he is capable of taking this line with a hand that you beat?

I think this guy could be bluffing, but obv I didn't think the chances were high enough to call.

I guess I'm more interested in hearing thoughts on the turn action.

The preflop akshun (open-limp/call?! c'mon) along with the fat raise on the turn makes me think of a set.

Calling is probably worse than raising or folding here as you're likely to face a river bet if you check in front on the river. if you are really determined to show down the queens, you can try to block the river but I sense that a river bet would get raised.

I don't like raising the turn here - the akshun really seems like a set. Thus I fold.

If villian is bluffing, I let him go this time and try to pick a better spot later.

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
if you bet the turn, i think you fold to a raise versus this line. I dont think a c/c block bet river line is awful, but the flush card gives opp plenty of oppertunity to bluff even if he doesnt have us beat.
