For the last few orbits I had been betting $3 preflop a lot. I was taking a lot of blinds and most of the time my opponents were folding preflop and i was taking the blinds. Here, I bet $4 PF because there is 1 player already in the hand.

I didn't have much action. Players were scared of me and were folding to me again and again and again. I hadn't been reraised preflop like this.

I think my opponent must have had a good hand to reraise me. Or maybe he just had enough of my raises.

My opponent seemed to be quite a solid player. Wasn't a maniac.

Did I play this hand really badly? I think PF is fine, but should I then lead out on the flop for $25?

I think my opponent had AA, KK, AK or JJ. If he reraised me with anything else then I'm surprised. Maybe he reraised me with AJ, KQ, TT or 99. But I really doubt it.
Should I just make a continuation bet and then just check/fold the rest of the hand if he calls/raises?

only thing i can think of here is re-raise preflop...making it ~30
and if he shoves then fold if your read is correct.....QQ is easier to laydown than KK

as played its fine especially you said he wasn't a maniac

(looking at the HH again it looked like JJ/KK.....rarely AJ, that 20 bet into 36 seemed strange, but you could've eliminated AJ or KJ had you reraised preflop)

I see your point against a relative unknown but in this instance you are incorrect. This player very rarely 3-bets.

17/13 tells you nothing of his 3bet range; your comment is really funny because it is so arrogant and stupid.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Settle downskies people. If he doesnt 3-bet ever, than more power to you. Didnt mean to come off as arrogant. Back to the concept though, I think way to many people assume AA and KK for sure in this situation and they unwittingly assume they can stack villain in this situation when there is no guarantee villain is holding these cards and further no guaruantee villain will pay you off. Just a few things that can ruin your plan.

Scare flops
Scary turn card
A on board when villain has KK
Villain is really 3-betting w/ AK, QQ, etc.

If you have a specific read on a specific player thats one thing, but otherwise I think way too many player nutt peddle for way too high a price.

i love these fish who dont 3bet anything but the nuts. They are so bad deep stacked and to be honest are a stack of implied odds when they are 150bbs deep or more.
You can fold QQ/JJ here a lot when you know people wont 3bet AK oop, a thing i find common in the nit-tastic stars games.

Sorry for my short response, but this is an easy fold. The re-raise puts him on a small hand range. His range + flop = QQ no good.
