Well, I usually hang out in the sit'n'go forum, but am starting to get into ring games b/c I find them more convenient and profitable.

Anyways I started 9 tabling 10nl just to get started, and hopefully will grow as a poker player as a result.

I have yet to get a HUD or anything like that, so no reads on this guy.

Just wondering what the plan on the turn is here, as I think our equity changes a bit due to the K hitting...

Id still bet the turn - sets/KJ raise and AJ/JT/QJ are still calling you down.

I think any changes to your relative hand strength will be shown to you when you bet the turn

In my live game I would bet this turn for the reasons Miffed stated.

horribly scary line by villain plus we made decision on flop if we get c/r'ed we muck so i guess fold despite getting sick pot odds.

I don't like betting the turn. Do we really think villain is donk/calling, and intending to check/call this turn, with hands like AJ, QJ, JT? I kinda doubt it. Given we have less than a PSB on the turn, it's kind of a gay spot to bet and fold. I don't see why we shouldn't clearly check back the turn, and maybe pick off a bluff if we have odds, and his bluffing frequency is high enough. If the turn goes check/check, and he checks river, I'm vbetting river.

Also most villains donking range is really polarized, and heavily weighted towards strong hands.. I would expect a set/AA is most cases here. Most villains would check/call hands like Jx on this board. Some would check/call sets, and some would c/r.

I tend to avoid tough decisions like that so I call the flop. Then I call the turn, bet if he checks.

I'd play the hand this way if I've been raising the flop a lot as a bluff and people are adjusting and trying to float OOP or something. If that is the case, I check back the turn and hope he tries to take it away on the river.

BTW, NL10 should go in the beginner's forum.

Hero (UTG) ($13.15)
UTG+1 ($9.55)
MP1 ($1.95)
MP2 ($2)
MP3 ($6)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q
Hero bets $0.40, 3 folds, MP3 (poster) calls $0.30, 3 folds, BB calls $0.30

Flop: ($1.25) J, 5, 4 (3 players)
BB bets $0.50, Hero raises to $2.10, 1 fold, BB calls $1.60

Turn: ($5.45) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB raises to $4.20 (All-In), Hero calls $2.20

River: ($13.85) 9 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $13.85 | Rake: $0.65

Results:
BB had J, 10 (one pair, Jacks).
Hero had Q, Q (one pair, Queens).
Outcome: Hero won $13.20

I know I won the hand, but felt totally dirty calling the turn raise...
I guess he played the hand well?

lol bet folding is the worst idea. you are committed with any bet so folding is rediculous getting these type of odds at these stakes where this guy could be doing this with random ass shit.
shoving=b/c>>>checking back and calling river>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>b/f
i made my lol post results the first time i saw this thread. and to be quite honest you should do anything but bet fold this turn. so i mean i didnt really even read responses much in this thread but i take it you were a strong advocate of betfolding.

This is a very standard value shove on the turn. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
