PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

saw flop|saw showdown

UTG ($14.45)
UTG+1 ($3.95)
UTG+2 ($9.55)
MP1 ($18.00)
MP2 ($24.75)
MP3 ($9.20)
Hero ($25.80)
Button ($10.10)
SB ($26.95)
BB ($25.90)

Villain is loose-passive (PT has her as a Calling Station).

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, Q.
4 folds, MP2 raises to $0.5, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3.5, 3 folds, MP2 calls $3.

I reraise to isolate and find out where I am as well as take control of the hand postflop if possible.I want to know if she has AA/KK/AKs as soon as possible and keep it cheaper rather than stack off on a ragged flop/turn.

Flop: ($7.40) A, K, 7 (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $4.85, MP2 calls $4.85.

Not the flop I wanted-right now AK has me,AQ,AJ,hell AXs/Axo have me(we'll rule out AA/KK because that'll be monsters under the bed). However;with the pot this big and checked to I have to bet out and see if I can take it down here.If I check the flop and she leads the turn I pretty much will be showing weakness in the worst way.She calls.

Turn: ($17.10) K (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks.

I thought about leading back out;but wasn't sure if I was being trapped. If I check and villain makes an ok river bet I might be able to call.If she pushes or valubet I lay it down no regrets.

River: ($17.10) 5 (2 players)
MP2 bets $4, Hero calls $4.

So I miss any miracle cards.VIllain leads out for about little more than 1/4 the pot.So I'm looking at $4 to win $21 if I'm right;giving me 5-to-1 odds.I can only beat JJ,TT,99? and will lose to any Ax/Kx(we'll rule out the case QQ for a split).

Final Pot: $25.10
Main Pot: $25.10, between MP2 and Hero.

I am interested in seeing how some of you would've played this hand in order to best gauge where you were, attempt to win the pot if possible, and to minimize the money lost.

How many hands do you have on this opponent? Preflop is fine, but why are you betting that flop? This is a horrible flop for you, you really only beat JJ or maybe TT, not much else is calling preflop that is behind on this flop. Betting is not going to get a call from either of those hands, maybe against a calling station, but you are going to be called by a lot of hands that have you killed. I check behind on this flop, dont really think you need to bet out here, you arent ahead of anything that will call. After checking the flop Im not too sure how Id play it, but I think I would like to check behind on the turn and call a small river bet. I am fairly confident in checking behind on the flop; however, Im unsure of where to go from there.
