Unless he'd raise with worse than top pair with a queen kicker, fold on the flop.

part of the reason why i posted this was because i have been winning a good portion of my showdowns, which could mean I'm playing too tight postflop. My wins at showdown for ring have been hovering around 60-70%

Villain seems passive. Raise means trouble. 6 handed seals the deal. Fold your percieved best hand here.

You are right about showdowns however. Don't focus too heavily on that stat. My showdown percentage is never that great, but I make a shitload of money. Just make sure you don't lose the big showdowns, and you'll be fine. Is there a "big" showdown percentage? No, but there should be. Pots over 25xBB or something.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
