Raise to 7.5. Get a fishy call. Push to a diamondless turn. If the diamond does fall, you've got position. Figure out what he has and play.

Flat calling would be a horrible mistake and pushing will probably scare off potential customers.

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

Just spank it all in on the turn.

Infact, you would have been better off spanking it in on the flop since Player2 will be forced to call 8 more after already putting 9.65 in on that street.

Chicago_Kid is all-In [$7.85]
Player2 calls [$7.85].
** Dealing River ** [ 5d ]
Player2 shows [ 4d, Kd ] a flush, king high.
Chicago_Kid doesn't show [ 8s, 8h ] three of a kind, eights.
Player1 doesn't show [ 6d, Jd ] a flush, jack high.
Player2 wins $14.9 from side pot #1 with a flush, king high with king kicker.
Player2 wins $40.35 from the main pot with a flush, king high with king kicker.

Nice..a private lesson from 'rilla. So I played it ok, I guess. I agree that pushing on the flop would have been better, as P1 (fish) could have been on a Ace--he was my target on this one. I think I did leave P2 had odds to call the river (as far has he knew). Guy with K-high said on his turn bet "I just felt like gambling".

I swore a bunch, and took a break after this one...two non-nut flush draws...
