I'm encountering this fairly often. I have 100bbs and on button or CO with a small to mid pp. 20bb or < short stack in mp open limps. Do I limp along or iso? I'm afraid to iso because he's short and I don't want to be committed. Should I just dump the hand?

limp along unless blinds are aggro and likely to iso wide in which case you can dump.
