I ran a PT3 stat I threw together over some large samples of FR at 50nl, 100nl and 200nl (at least 300k hands for each sample), and here's what I got:

50nl FR - 0.183 VPP/hand
100nl FR - 0.311 VPP/hand
200nl FR - 0.444 VPP/hand

Which seems similar to what we were getting before. Of course my stat could be f'ed, but I don't think it is.

At much smaller samples (at least 70k hands for each level), I have

25nl FR - 0.122 VPP/hand
10nl FR - 0.057 VPP/hand

Good luck guys.

This may be a dumb question, but all these changes won't affect the periodic cash bonuses they sometimes give, will it? They sometimes give you $1 per 62.5 FPP - the Stellar program won't eliminate those will it? Or is the Stellar program better? I'm confused by the VPP way of earning versus the FPP way of earning. On the web site it says "Best of all, VIP Stellar Rewards cost only 1 FPP" but everything is listed in VPP's, not FPP's ... hrm.

Okay then you probably don't understand how the VIP system works in general.

VPPs are used as the measurement for monthly/yearly VIP levels and as a measurement for releasing certain bonuses (including reload bonuses, first deposit bonuses, some of the VIP bonuses, etc.)

FPPs are used for the actual purchasing of things. The number of FPPs you get are a multiple of the VPPs you earn, and your VIP level changes what multiplier you get. In this way, VPPs can be thought of as 'base' FPPs.

The Stellar program are basically a bunch of mini milestone bonuses. After you get X VPPs for the year, you can buy a mini instacashbonus for 1 FPP. They basically just add $1k of value to anyone who makes Supernova, and adds lesser amounts of value to people who don't quite make Supernova.

No, I understand the basics and I understand the multiplier. So, under the Stellar program, once I reach 750 VPP's, I spend 1 FPP to get $10 or 10 FPP's to get $10 or something else?

So, I can infer that they will still periodically offer the the $1 per 62.5 FPP? Or is the Stellar program combined with Supernova + benefits is now the best/only way to use the FPP's?

I'm sitting on 46k plus FPP's and am just trying to figure out the best way to redeem them and the 62.5FPP per $1 specials they periodically gave out was the best way to go before this announcement.

Oh, and btw, I am Plantinum VIP and will probably get Supernova towards the end of next year if that should change my strategy. I play Full Ring and start a lot of my own tables and theoretically should get more VIP's when I'm shorthanded now, but slightly less when it gets full.

The VIP club hasn't changed at all besides those things listed.

I thought I read somewhere that you could get SuperNova quicker or something like that. Any idea on when the next 62.5 FPP per $1 cash bonuses will be offered for purchase based on past history?

Jason, are you talking about Instant Cash Credits? If so, I think they just randomly come out with them every few months. Idk if they plan on doing it now that they have the Stellar VIP things, but who knows?

Ya, they may be called instant credits. The last time they had one, you could buy an $8 for 500 FPP, a $40 for 2500, and a $200 for 12500. I definitely don't want to buy store items and I want to have good plan for what to spend them on. It doesn't sound like these change affect that, but maybe they do.

Yea, those were the ICCs, basically the Stellar Rewards are what those were, just in a different format (and ldo for less total $). I don't think they will have the old cash credits anymore because of the new system, which isn't a big deal since if you hit SN you get the $1k total for the Stellar Rewards and the first Milestone bonus at 100k VPPs is for $1k now instead of $800 last year.

I don't think they've announced whether or not this is available yet.

woah wat?

how many fpp's did this cost?

might actually be the deciding factor in SNE chasing next year..

fpp cost was equivalent to like $10k, pretty sure this was an option for 2009

http://www.fpppro.com/images/vpphandchanges.jpg has been floating around for a few days and I think that its caused a bit of an uproar. It looks like its gotta be way off to me.. doubt they'd give any stake a 20%+ decrease.

yea, i doubt 25nl FR is going to drop down to .07/hand, while 25nl 6m is going to .13/hand its kind of retarded. Other stakes are like that too obviously. My guess is its off by quite a bit for the lower stakes, but accuratish for higher stakes.

Yeah a number of things are super off in that image, as has already been shown in the 2p2 thread.

wat really?

According to HEM I'm only running 0.09 VPP/hand

I've played 31931 hands so far this month @ 25nl FR and have 2861 VPP's

Anyone got something different?
