This situation comes up from time to time, so i thought i'd get some thoughts on it:
I am out of position and havent been in very many hands to this point. Id like to hear how others would have played this and hands like it.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG+1 ($22.10)
MP1 ($6.55)
MP2 ($23.65)
CO ($38.90)
Button ($24.30)
SB ($25.20)
BB ($11.80)
Hero ($24.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J, J.
Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, MP1 calls $1, 4 folds, BB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($3.10) 4, 8, 2 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, MP1 calls $3, BB folds.

Turn: ($9.10) K (2 players)
Hero bets $1.25, MP1 raises to $2.5, Hero raises to $3.75, MP1 calls $0.04 (All-In).

River: ($15.40) K (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $15.40

Results in white below:
Hero has Jh Jd (two pair, kings and jacks).
MP1 has Ac As (two pair, aces and kings).
Outcome: MP1 wins $14.20. Hero wins $1.20.

*edit*
If he would have had a bigger stack, i probably wouldnt have called the reraise, but it wasnt much more*

The shallow money trivializes this hand.

I would just stick the rest in on the turn and not waste everyone else's time with that silly turn action.

That was my fault, for some reason, i really thought he had $16 instead of 6, stupid mistake that I learned from.

You don't hafta bet flop so hard.

Don't ever bet 10% of the pot on the turn. Its an extremely weak play.

Don't ever second guess stacking off with a strong hand against a 25bb stack. Its not worth the effort. I double up about 10 shortstacks every session I play, but I stack about 15. As long as you are picking up profit on the proposition its ok.

Shallow money and he's gonna stick it all in if called anyway.

True, BB isn't quite as shallow though (almost 50bb).
