I am in a $10+1 9player sngo on stars..there are 5 players left with the blinds 100/200. ..I am a low/medium stack with about 1900..the two to my right fold and I'm on the button with K2s..I make it 450 to go just to pick up the blinds..the sb folds and the bb calls..flop comes Kh Jh 8c..he leads out with a 450 bet..then I raise all in..he shows A8d..turn brings an A and I miss the river.

The last few days I have been finishing on the bubble in the 9 plr sngos. So I decided to be a little more aggressive when we get short handed. Should I have waited for a better hand than K2s on the button to make that play or do u think I was just in with a donk who tried to push bottom pair like he had the nuts?

I think you can afford to wait a little longer for a better hand unless the blinds are very tight (and are likely to fold). K2s isnt much better than any 2 cards.

As it happens he called with a very weak hand which leads me to believe he isnt the kind of player you should be trying to steal blinds from. Just wait for a decent hand and value bet him to death.
