Results aside, do you play this the same? I thought it was pretty clear that he didn't have a king, judging by his bets. I actually thought he might have had clubs. Was putting him AI justified, seeing as he was a really short stack?

I normally play very solid in ring, and don't mess around with middle pairs. But I had a pretty good read on this guy , he would always push his small stack to protect his good hands. So I assumed he would do the same here if he had a top pair, 2 pair, or a set, to protect against the flush draw. Those quarter bets seemed like a middle pair or a draw too much to pass up, and since he only had 3 more bucks left, I felt it was worth a shot.

Poor play, horrible call. I wouldn't post results with this hand.

Anyway, your post about your read kinda works out all the details. If you had a read that he'd call with that kind of garbage, then go ahead and push I guess.

I'd probably raise or fold the flop.

A chick wouldn't do this. Huge all ins against super low stacks are fueled by testosterone.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I love his open-limp with J3o.

I dont understand why people are saying "Bad play by both".

He should have raised the flop and took down the .25 minimum bet?

I dont see what he has to be scared of... a stack that small which he has a read on for doing exactly what he suspects and min-betting the flop and the turn...

He was dominated when the chips went in which is what was desired.

BankItDrew will become famous soon enough
I think you played it just fine except I didn't see the point in pushing him AI with 2nd pair. Secondly, I would have raised pre-flop. The only problem is that if you raised pre-flop: he would have called with his j3o.

Raise the flop to a $1. Or Raise the Turn to a $1. Min-bets suck. You may have a read on him, but you still need information. Calling gets you nowhere with middle pair...
Hey knucklehead! Bonk!
