Raise pre-flop, with AJo you want to play a raised pot w/ position against few opponents. Raising is your best chance to accomplish this.

3-bet the flop. If he caps then go into check+call mode. Otherwise, you need to try to take control of this hand and force out random draws. Don't fold TPTK in a big pot for anything less than 2 big bets cold if you suspect 2 pair, you have too many outs.

I know this, I was multi-tabling and was distracted with another pot at the moment. It popped up and showed, I quickly hit call w/o thinking.

To make sure he isn't bluffing at the flop?

I knew this, just wasn't thinking it, really.

Thanks.

How many tables are you running? Maybe subtract a table until you make fewer errors like this?

He could be pumping a draw or a weaker Jack. I like to 3-bet here because you face a lot of the field with 2 more cold and can feel out the raise on a cheap street with 2 cards to come (still have a re-draw against 2 pair), rather than going to war on the Turn with a second best hand.

Also, just generally with TPTK it should take a pretty strong show of force to not have you taking the lead on this hand.

Three, right now. Normally I can deal with it fine, but it was during one of those rare cases where i had good hands on the other two tables and a bit of action on both as well, with two fair size pots.

But for the most part I can do three with no problem. I moved up to two with last weekend, and did fine, so I went to three earlier this week. It's been working pretty well so far.
