The whole thing's pretty bad, but the raise on the river is cover-your-eyes bad.

Sucks to be that guy.

BTW, aren't you glad you didn't hit a four on the flop? Trip 4's woulda been the third best hand there. Crazy.

Of course if there had been a 4, there couldn't have been a straight. But yes, I'm glad. Nothing worse than flopping a set under someone else's set... particularly if they are passive morons who don't raise their premium pairs even a little bit.

Flopping a full house into someone elses quads ranks up there pretty high.

I play a $25 buy in game with some work friends about once a month, and last time we were together, every freaking nice hand I had got topped by the same guy having better. Cracked my set with his set twice. Two pair to a set. Straight to a flush. I mean... just silly.

The fact that he was playing like a hunk of wood and not capitalizing made it all the more frustrating as I should've been out long before I was, but since he wasn't pushing me, and I kept smelling a rat, I stuck around. But with such a cally wally, I couldn't even bluff onto blinds.

Finally, on short stack, I went all in against the other short stack figuring I'd either get a playable stack when we combined the tables, or just go win the loser's table.

I won the loser's table.
