First up apologies for the lack of conversion I can't get it working...
Jack has a pfraise% of about 10 over a small sample. No info on Alpha. I call pf with position, might a raise be a better play? I don't want to isolate a better hand but a four bet could let me know I'm beat?
On the flop I just call, my thnking is a raise could scare off worse hands and I want him to bluff into me if he is so inclined. The downside is I don't define hand strengths.
When he bets the turn I'm now wanting to get to showdown without risking too many chips.
But the river push is a pain. What would you do? I really want to call
How can I play this spot better? More aggression early? Fold pre?
thanks all

I'm getting the feeling this is one of those spots where you don't find out you're beat til the river.. This is if he's a standard player, if he's really stupid or psychotic, I might consider a call.. It still looks like you're being taken to valuetown here though.

I'd say definately raise that flop, you got TPTK and you need to find out where you stand with it. Honestly, he may also have AQ. I highly doubt he's got somethin like a 10 10 because in my experience most 10nl players like to c/r that on the flop or turn. It is possible he has KJ though if you know he likes to semibluff. The river AI is very suspect and I would probably fold.

So that everything we beat folds and everything that's ahead of us keeps playing?
What do we do if he cold-calls our raise? How much more information do we have about his hand, apart from that it's not air?
For clarification here, I'm not coaching, I'm questioning to provoke discussion.

Ash you may be right but I could see this play being made by a KQ and if he's raised on the flop he would probably call through at this limit. It is possible though that he picked up a flush with something like As Qs or Ks Qs

So one vote for raising the flop. Would you then call a push? What is villains' range here?
