you went into cheap showdown after a min-raise with the second nuts...

You led out on the flop and turn for a reason i assume?
I do the same for two main reasons;
1) fold equity
2) build that pot and get it all in when you hit

he probably doesn't have the nut flush and he probably doesnt put you on the second nut flush. I raise him back all day long on turn and definately have it all in at least by the river...
Roll Rebuilding (for the second time). Current; $1600 from $300 (previous, $2300 from $15)

Also: look at the board. He could have a straight, be bluffing at the straight, there are so many things you beat that he's betting with.

Preflop:raise or call is fine.

Flop:Lead out or CR is fine.

Turn:I prob push too and pay off the nut flush.Thomas Keller said something about it's ok to call with the Jack or Queen high flush;but with the King high flush you need to raise because the few times you lose to the nut gets more than covered by the times you pawn the lower flushes then your King high.I guess I push and pay off with confidence.

I just called... and villian showed 55.

I honestly think pushing the turn after the turn raise is best, but lately I've been getting screwed by nut flushes. This is a fairly typical example of it too: a lot of players will keep chasing until the third flush card hits and then they start pumping the pot up in my face. I admit that since I have a strong flush here myself I'm being scared of ghosts, and just calling the turn lets him fill up without committing his entire stack. I usually am more aggressive in this situation though, so no worries.
