I've found a few leaks in my game recently...I like to build monster pots with the second best hand and for some reason I keep losing money like a mofo with overpairs so I know I must be doing something wrong

Here's a few overpair hands from tonight...

 1st:call
2nd: fold

Also, a small recommendation. I played 10NL for a decently long period of time. I would always raise at least 8x BB (80 cents) preflop. You will get callers with worse hands than you, and you'll actually isolate instead of getting 3-5 callers. Although in these examples you did isolate pretty well.

Hand1: Turn bet is bad. I lead for 2 and fold to a raise. If he calls, I c/f the river.

Hand2: I bet more on the flop. As played, I fold the river.

Raising to .5 is fine PF. I made it 5x BB +1BB per limper.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

villain has no real draw. a bet is mostly just called by an A and you fold out hands that you are way ahead of. read this and the thread that's linked in there as well as i think they both apply...

lol QFT. one way to balance it out is to not always c-bet when you hit an A high flop.

thanks for the feedback guys.

Seriously though, this isn't funny anymore...KK is my biggest loser over 5k hands because of hands like this, someone please tell me I played this standard??

No reads on villain, they just sat down. I'm only losing to sets, AA, A3,63 on the flop as far as I can tell so I wanted to get some cash in the middle, or was that a mistake as only sets and a flopped str8 would (most likely) call my big raise?

that was just a bad beat. there's nothing you can do to change it. you got the money in with the best hand. you must raise on the flop. you played it fine.
