he hits bottom pair on the flop (playing 23 suited), with little chance to improve, and then pushes hard with a flush (and two overs to his pair) on the board?

i limped my AJ on the button only because i've gotten hurt with AJ, and didn't want to reopen betting.

i guess this is an example of playing by "feel", more than odds (ala rippy's recent post). clearly, i wasn't getting pot odds to call the flop bet, but:

- i'm drawing to the nut flush
- i'm pretty sure he just paired the board (just didn't think the 3), and even if he's on a flush draw to, mine's better
- based on his trying push me off of my draw, i'm pretty sure if i hit the flush, i can make a lot from it

so, the implied odds to me were quite good.

still, an odd hand...

I assume you mean the river was a 4 of hearts? Or was this place just very nice to you, by crediting you with a 4 card flush?

Flop: stone cold bluffed on the flop, hoping to take it down right there.

Turn: He probably put you on AQ, and figured bluffing either the flush or the pair of Kings would get you to fold.

Reraise of your turn bet: stupid.

Wow, I thought the 3 on the flop was a heart. ... He didn't even have the low flush draw I thought he had ...

That's horrible, but sadly I've seen players like that before. I was on a table the other day, and one guy has like $15 left. I bet $3 preflop with QQ and he calls. The flop is like a rainbow J54, and I bet another $6 or so, and he shoves all in on me and I call. The turn is a K and the river is a rag, and it shows he had Q7 ...

I've been as stupid as E.O.D. before. I bluff and I get called. I bluff again and I get called. And I'm embaressed to show my cards at the end. Yo hit it, TheNatural, when E.O.D. reraised all-in after the turn that was his stupid mistake. He should have known he would get called.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.
