No way I'm folding with that read + action.

ALL IN
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

To me it seemed as though he had a weak hand on the flop but he liked it on the turn. I thought he could have a 2. Also im losing to any overpair or set. I folded at the time but a few hands later i saw him lose half his stack overplaying middle pair in a pretty similar situation to this.

The turn bet says to me "I still have a piece of it and am not going away to your flop raise." A passive player might play a 2 like this, but the aggro nut-jobs generally have 2 pair here. The terrible LAggs slow down when they hit big because they don't understand that over-playing weaker holdings allows them to fast-play their best hands and expect to get paid off.

Ok so if you had to stick a percentage to it, what sort of chance do you think im:

1) ahead to a worse made hand - need to value bet/raise
2) ahead to a draw - need to bet/raise
3) Behind - need to fold
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

Not a fan of how you're approaching this problem.

He's bet the scare card into you and put a lot behind in behind it. You've looked at this and though you're no good. Does he really call preflop with a x2? If he has quads or FH does he play it this fast?
My anser to most if not is all. Get it all in or at least find a reraise here of some sort. If he pushes i think you still have to call. These plays are the sort i make money on. I'm making this raie/push 80% of the time

It wouldnt surprise me to see A2s or something.

The last time i made this call against this type of player he showed Q6s on a flop of 6K6. I had AKs.

It worries me when these guys make such huge overbets.

I will start to call these though and see how it turns out.

i can understand the need to find a fold here.
I just think you might find yourself good more often than not to make showdown +ev
