I have never played fullring before in my life.

The real question is: Who here plays fullring and beats what stakes for a nice clip? My guess, unfortunately, is that no regular posters do >2ptbb above .50/1.

Me beats Stars 100NL for 9 PTBB
Although it's just 2 weeks, 20k hands in total

Me was running at ~3 PTBB over 12k hands before I took a 2-week break in September.
When I resumed late Sept. I made some adjustments and have caught fire since then

I do, but I just started playing for money within the last month or so. Figured it'd be best to stick with one game type and get it figured out before moving to something else.

Right now I'm playing .01/.02 NL on stars (gotta get that BR up!)
I'm winning so far (made about $11 after 2k+ hands IIRC), but it doesn't feel like it. Seems I alternate, make $5-10 one day, lose it the next, repeat.

After I'm rolled to move up a bit I'll probably try out 6-max for a bit.

I play $50 full ring now. Started again in August after playing 6-max for 14 months. I'm looking forward to moving up next month. So far I got a 6bb/100 after ~50k hands at the $50.

I moved back to full ring because it just suits my personality better. I don't like all the marginal decisions and swings of 6m so I moved to fr where players play with their hands practically face up.

played 25k FR hands at $5NL. +5BB/100.
Still not sure about playing FR vs 6-max, currently playing prima and the table selection means that my last 10k hands have been 6-max.
Likely to play some FR$25NL shortly.

I cant beat Cortana on H3 Legendary solo. Decent level, worst in the game, but better than most other fps garbage. Problem is, it seems to be meant for three weapons, not two. Or maybe weapons that dont run out of ammo so easily. If only I was a 5 ptbb winner.

Was 10NL, just moved to 25NL. Occsly try 6Max 'cause I thought it would be easier with less people to keep track of reads on. Discovered I suck at it worse than FR.

used to play a lot more FR than now. mostly 6max, butt...

havent played over 50NL in over a year.

at 10NL, through 35k hands of FR, i run at 11.76/100
at 25NL, through 22k hands of FR, i run at 2.03/100

dont have a clue as to why...

Just started playing NL on Stars within the last year. I don’t have a lot of hands so I know this doesn’t mean anything one way or the other.

At .01/.02 NL I have 19k hands and am +5 PTBB/100
At .10/.25 NL I have 4K hands and am –3 PTBB/100
Overall I am a small loser so far and definitely need to work on my game.
I am not very aggressive, my pfr is a pathetic 2.5.

This is my first post, just joined up today, so obviously I need some pointers on being more aggressive.
Anyway I have been a lurker for a while and like what I see so am hoping I can get better by entering some of my hand histories for analysis.

That’s it for now,

ok well.

I'm moderating this forum now and my goals are as follows:

- increasing the traffic to this bitch

- increasing the content level around here

with the ultimate goals of

- getting you 2-50 nlers up to 1/2

- getting you 5/1 1/2 nlers up to midstakes

I've already started gathering some material from past posts on FTR and 2p2. I will continue to do so.

Im also going to make a few videos of full ring to add to ftr's video section.

glad to see you have a "goal/purpose" for the forum, Renton.

however, what do you do when most players are following fish over to 6max? that's the main reason i dont play as much fr anymore.

another thing...finding tables where 30+% vpip is considered loose these days is boring.

any recommendations of a US player?

Since I moved up to 2/4 I've been running at 5.5 ptBB/100 for 20k hands. I have a total of around 50k hands of 3.95 ptBB/100 playing 1/2 - 3/6.

Good to hear your modding now Renton - thought you defected to 2p2 lol. Looking forward to the videos too.

I've been playing FR for a couple of years but I'm kinda stuck in a rut now- I never post and I keep cashing out and don't move up lol. I'll try and motivate myself to post more and improve my game, I think.

I play 25NL and 50NL FR (more 50NL now) and am at about 6BB/100 at 13k hands. I figured I need more hands and long term solid play (I don't necessarily have to won every session) before I move up or to 6max.

Renton FWIW - I am up for the challenge. I will be homebound for at least a week (surgery) and can focus entirely on poker for about 8 hours per day.

i play 1/2 and 2/4 full ring on stars when im there which is almost never nowadays.

However sites like mansion only have .5/1 1/2 fr games so i still have to be able to play. But im certainly no fr bot like rent.

interesting point for another thread perhaps. Can you play high stakes fr? does it exist?
I knwo you can still play midstakes fr as 2/4nl 3/6nl has fair numbers on stars.
