Looking for feedback on my raise on the flop? Should I have just called despite the possible flush draw or do you feel the raise was justified?
Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you ARE the sucker.

There are 18 cards left in the deck which could give someone a flush or full house. There are 5 additional cards that will counterfeit your hand.

So you've got a 50-50 shot of a card showing up that you don't want to see.

Make them pay for those cards.

Furthermore, think of all the hands that player might have that look good right now - AK, AT, KT, AhQh, AhJh, KhQh, KhJh. Unfortunately for you, it looked like no one had one of these hands. But i'd say it was still the correct decision.

Lexicon is exactly right. This is not a slowplay opportunity. You slowplay for one purpose... to increase your implied odds without risk of being drawn out. Extra cards will hurt your implied odds or beat you here. The best implied odds you're going to recieve throughout this hand are against top pair or better on the flop.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
