no need to raise turn. Let villain bet again on the river. He seems to think
that his Q-Q/10-10 is g00t.

A raise on the turn is bad because only hands that beat us will call that bet (A-A, J-x)

Raising the river is probably what i would do, but i can understand calling as well if villain were to bet again.

Does he ever really lead out here with a J? Raise the flop.

What hand is villain holding that include a J except J-J? This flop is very nice. We are either WA/WB, and we are probably WA ~80% of the time.

He isn't beating us right now unless he has aces (certainly possible, but less likely than 10-10 or Q-Q. It could even be A-K weakly stabbing at the pot. I don't see any reason to raise the flop, since the only times we will be making a mistake by not taking control of the betting in this hand is against Ac-Kc(to price his FD out) or A-A(by not finding out we are beat earlier in the hand to save us $$$).

He is betting again. Maybe he thinks that he can take this pot away from us by betting. Maybe he thinks his pocket pair is good against our hand since we didn't raise the flop. But with Q-Q/10-10, we are way ahead. It is highly unlikely he will draw out against us on the river. Conversely, if he has A-A, we are way behind. We only stand to lose by raising, since we lose the hands that we were beating, and get all our money in when we are dominated. Just call again, and give him another shot to bet at the river. If he checks the river, make a value bet. Even if he bets again, it is an easy call. You make more money when you are ahead, and lose less when you are behind. Basically his range on the turn is Q-Q, 10-10, A-A, Ac-Kc, A-K. We are doing fine against this range, and i think we don't want to lose our opponent by raising the turn, even though we are letting the FD draw correctly. That hand doesn't constitute the majority of his range, and we are trading that mistake for making our opponent calling a river bet with a smaller overpair (another mistake, bigger than ours i think).

What is the point of insulting me? I appreciate and respect criticism, but you need to elaborate on why i am "real dumb"

opp's here if find lead with a weak holding on flop. either under pair, air, or draw. Id RR flop since his AF maybe let him go AI here with weaker holdings but slowplaying till turn is ok, but what do you plan if a flush hits?? check behind turn, call river.
