Are you bluffing on the river or betting for value? Either one is bad imo. You should have gladly jumped on the opportunity for a showdown. In regards to the call, sure you're getting great odds but what can you beat? I mean maybe he has JhTh and got annoyed that he missed everything and decided to spaz. There are plenty of K's and 9's in his range here though.

Of course I'm betting for value here, I know its thin but im sure its huge +ev vs this guy. And yeah I'm leaning towards folding here, but just wasn't sure how much he is bluffing.

So lets say he bluffs 1 out of 10 its a clear fold

I think betting 1/2 your stack then folding to what is essentially a min-raise is pretty bad.

What hand are you getting value from anyway. Ax? TT-JJ?

When you make that river bet you need to already know what you're going to do if he pushes. Maybe $10, then you have less odds, and may get value out of a naked A.

Betting less was my initial thoughts, but his wtsd was so big i was sure he would pay me off more with any pp. I'm sure I'm folding out most Ax then but I'm also confident he would call sometimes.

And what you said, folding to the minraise is pretty bad, i ended up calling because i couldnt see him playing 9x this way, and i thought that with kx he would just call my bet.

I wasn't trying to say folding to the min-raise is bad. Putting yourself in the situation where you're contemplating folding is terrible. Plan ahead, be aware of how much you have left and what might happen.

I can't imagine anything but checking, without some awesome read, to be the right play. If he would call with Kx, lol, he's obviously not overvaluing his hands.

def b/f if he's a drooler, but like has been said, bet a smaller amount to widen his calling range.
