Villain just sat down at the table a few hands ago, so no reads as of yet.

UTG+1 ($5.40)

SB posts the small blind of $0.05

UTG folds
UTG+1 folds
Villain calls $0.10
MP2 has 15 seconds left to act
MP2 calls $0.10

Button folds
SB has 15 seconds left to act
SB folds
BB checks
*** FLOP *** [3d 4d 9d]

What is the right move here? The board is ugly for my set. I could be up against a higher set, but I feel a more likely hand would be a different pocket pair with a diamond, or something to that extent. Help?

stars 10c nl he could have anything from 99+,44, AKo, AKs, A9o and much more. These people also love to slow play the nutz and would probably just call the raise with a made flush. Bets like this at this level are often made to push you off the hand. Folding and just losing the price of a mars bar aint bad tho.

id just fold, not to much invested and losing a whole stack in a limped pot with a hand thats very far from the nuts is preety bad.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

what are you talking about, on stars specifically people go all in with a set or better
they are all too happy to go all in on a flopped flush even if it's a baby one

maybe you play different type of tables to me but the last 4/5 allins I've been in they all have had trash and thought they could bet me out of the pot. I'm also amazed at the amount of hands I see where a small pot is won by a badly played big hand. Lets face it if you could actually play good poker you shouldn't be at 5/10c, and yeah I'm still there

Getting it in with a small flush isn't so bad because it gets paid by those drawing to the larger flush. Do you put the villain above on AdKd or even Ad3d? To me it looks more like incompetent post flop play shoving to protect an overpair or a draw thinking they have a lot more fold equity than they do. They also probably think op has over cards and is just cbetting as a stab. I fold as op but not always, call me station.

I put the villain on 5Td because he's trying to protect his baby flush from big flush draws
