Ok so maybe he didnt have the absolute nuts but close enough...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

MP1 ($14.88)
MP2 ($22.45)
Hero ($29.97)
CO ($25.9)
Button :#A500AF(Villain)/ ($59.47)
SB ($16.35)
BB ($71.14)
UTG ($19.25)
UTG+1 ($8.9)
UTG+2 ($25.35)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8, 7. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.50, MP2 calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, Button :#A500AF(Villain)/ calls $0.50, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($3.50) A, 9, T (7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets $2, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $2, Hero calls $2, Villain raises to $6, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $4, MP2 folds, Hero calls $4.

Turn: ($23.50) 2 (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, Villain bets $7, Hero calls $7.

River: ($37.50) 6 (3 players)
Villain calls $16.47.

Final Pot: $53.97
Main Pot: $53.97, between Hero, Villain and UTG+1. > Pot won by Hero ($53.97).

Results in white below:
UTG+1 has Ks Qs (high card, ace).
Hero has 8d 7d (straight, ten high).
Villain has 9d 9c (three of a kind, nines).
Outcome: Hero wins $53.97.

It was so obvious that I was on a draw here that its not even funny but the villain did not cut off my odds and allowed me to improve. The first call may have been questionable (tilt). Once I picked up the OESD + FLUSH I was stayin for a $7 bet into a $30 pot. (Gotta add all the bets +calls to the running totals listed to the left up there)

If the pot hadnt been so big and if villain would have bet alot bigger I would have folded immediately.

I know that usually its not good to draw to the ghey end of a straight but it was obvious this guy was on a set or 2 pair and I knew that making my hand would pay off. Poor guy had taken several beatings before this hand to the tune of 2 buyins. But I had taken my beatings too so sorry dude!

EDIT - getting ready to go to work so I dont have time to look but if anyone sees anything wrong with the fact that I started wtih 29 bucks before this hand, went all in, and ended up with less than double my amount. Whats that all about? Cant be that much rake.

EDIT - I looked at the original hand history and the pots listed were alot bigger so I think that the hand converter only showed my actual profit. So, I think its all good...
