Flop play looks like early set action fearful of you making/having made a straight. The minraise of $10 more is asking for you to call, and the odds are correct, so I probably make the call.
No way of knowing that the river gave him a higher straight, especially since he was acting like a set, and because anyone who knows what they're doing makes a value bet instead of this ridiculous all-in (unless he thinks you'll call thinking he's making a final stab at the pot).
I guess the final word is that this guy is an idiot fish who got lucky.

There's no way to put him on a gutshot there, you just got unlucky on that river.
Maybe bet that turn after he checks to you. But darn, he's really repping a much better hand than what you have... Yea, I think I lose a buy-in on that most of the time, IF I call his re-raise on the flop...

I would 1/2 pot the turn to see if he still is confident i n his hand. I usually don't like to check the turn after heavy action on the flop.
