The converter wont work properly with Pokerroom... Hope this is OK. I've played about 20 hands with the villian at this point. He's playing fairly tight, and has taken a few pots down on the flop. Doesn't seem like a passive player. We both have about 100BB.

Should I bet out or check. If I check here I'm asking to be pushed off the hand. It's tough to put him on a hand I'm beating here though. What about the rest of my play?

That's a very ugly situation, where you have to think you are beat after pulling both barrels on the flop and turn. That river is a sure-fire scare card, and I think you have to believe that your rockets got cracked. Check/fold(call wimpy) the river here. One of the infrequent times that your AA isn't good...

I like your flop bet. It's large enough to garner information. I slow down on the turn here. Don't worry about getting pushed off the hand. It happens less frequently than you think. Don't get Tiffany Williamsonitus (thinking everyone is bullying you). Just check fold the turn to aggression. Wait for a better day.

As your reads advance you can start picking your spots to go deep on these close edges. For example, if I was up against an aggressive player, I might be afraid of a flop smooth call, but feel ahead if raised on the flop. Aggressive players often slowplay big made hands after throwing down large aggressive chunks for 30 hands when they didn't have a monster. It gets very player specific in close situations.

Some aggressive players stay aggressive even through their good hands. You just have to know what you're up against.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I make a 1/4 bet or so on the river in these cases. People actually fold sometimes (15%). They had trips or two pair without a heart and are convinced you hit a flush. 60% they just call. %25 they reraise and I fold. I think a check bumps up the raise percentage closer to 75%. These nubmer are just my perception of how these play out. I don't have specifics in front of me.
