I've been having a pretty bad day, and this is fairly exemplary of the hands I've had.

I hadn't reloaded so my stack was low, but I still think the raise of nearly the pot was OK. What could I have done better?

If you want to say I should have reloaded, tell me what I should have done with the extra stack.

The only thing you could have done was reraise preflop, but I don't think you are chasing any ace out, let alone a suited ace. Clowns with two SOOTED cards at this level seem to call any raise, call any bet with their FD (even pushes). He called that almost-pot-sized push with a gutshot. Tough beat.

There is nothing wrong with this hand...it's a bad beat given by the table idiot. You want that call every time. And even if you had a full stack in this case and could have bet $3 on the flop and allin on the turn - this joker probably still would have called you so the only change in results would be that you would have been out even more money.

However - that said, in general if I bought in with $10 and am down to less than 4 - it's usually because I've taken a bad beat - if the table is great and full of morons, I'm reloading - most of the time I'm just leaving and finding another table to get a fresh start so I don't have a chance to tilt. I may even switch to a tournament or limit for a bit...that's just my wacky psychology - not recommended for others necessarily

Having a full stack may or may not have changed the outcome(and that's not even the point), but it could have given opp bad odds to call a turn/river bet. Because you didn't have any more chips, you couldn't give him the opportunity to play (more) incorrectly by calling (or folding to your bet.)

Reload sooner so you can give him that opportunity.

Be happy people are still making these calls against you. Be very happy and honestly, at this level, they are probably calling if you reload anyway. Whatever. You'll beat them in the long run and if they move up stakes higher than you, then screw br management skills and follow!!! (thats ur new br!)
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

Am I the only one who thinks he should push preflop?

Theres $2.30 in the pot and you only have a $3.50 stack. Push and hopefully you will only be up against 1 or 2 others postflop.
