Okay, I admit I played very strange after the turn came, and I am still trying to understand my logic here, see if you can help me.
Now the guy had been in a lot of pots, and would slowplay everything he hit, and his hollywooding call gave me the impression I was beat to KQ, so I proceded to check the turn, however I didnt know what was in my head when the river came and thought "Oh! he checked, my hand must be good!"
I definiately gave him incorrect odds to call his GS, but from there it was just weird. Would you just keep betting on the turn and hope he gives you some info?...or since you know he is a slowplayer you do something different?
Thanks

It looks like he called your 4xBB PFR with 9T
Did you have a read on him? Does he make it a habit
of chasing draws?
The flop does look a little coordinated but given
the play so far I would love to see that flop with AA.
I would bet out a pot sized bet like you did.
The turn card would be a real problem for me. He could
have alot of hands that would beat you here. His call on
the flop says he's ot something. Alot of 2 pair hands
would call that. You hope that he has AK or AQ. Not to
mention the straight possibility.
I would check from here on and perhaps call a modest
bet on the river.
I would classify this as a bad beat. Your opp played trash
into you and got his inside straight on 10xBB call.

Well I hadnt seen him chase a lot of draws.....thats why I thought he was slowplaying again when he seemed to hollywood his call. And that J scared the begeesus outta me, but I still cant figure out why i came out betting on the river because any hand that would stuck with me on the flop certainly has something and that check behind on the turn should have sealed the deal as another slowplay.........
I understood that I took a bad beat, but I was more frustrated over how I played it then the beat itself. But thanks for the reply, I think I will do as you say if a situation like this comes up again.
