Im interested in hearing other people's methods of multi-tabling. How many do you plat at a time? Do you focus on one table more than the other, do you try to provide even time for them all? Do you get bombarded with timer bells occasionaly too?

I find my problem to be playing very passive when I get over two 6max games at once. I figured as long as I played tight I could do well, its not that hard to play tight at 300 hp/h, folding hand after hand of mediocre/rag cards until something nice pops up. When that happens I find it even easier to hit the check/fold tab on the other tables, making me very vulnerable to people stealing. Passive.

How can I overcome this, or tweak it. Whats your style?

-Thanks

I usually play three 6 max tables at once, but I make sure to close down the ones with particularly tricky players and find an easier venue. It's not that I can't win in those games, but it robs too much of my concentration from the other tables.

I also use some tools, like Pokertracker and Playerview to make reads a little easier.

Finally, when in doubt, sit out. If you don't like your play, simplify and focus on one game until you're comfortable in it. Then add the next table.
