Just hit $300br at 5NL after serious grinding.. time to move up to 10NL? Was running at 20ptBBs until the last $20 stretch..
PT stats are 31/13/2.5, but intentionally loose to get fishy action. Final ptBB = 18.0

i cant see how many hands u have logged, actually it doesnt matter at all. Playing that loose alone isnt a bad thing, but its way too passive. tighten up a bit, stop limping and lower your %cold call a bit. Move up as quickly as possible until u dont feel comfortable anymore or begin to break even for some 10k hands.

10NL isn't that different than 2NL, and therefore shouldn't be that different from 5NL (I went from 2NL to 10NL, skipping 5NL). You may have to play a bit tighter pf, but it's still a donkfest. Good luck!

lol 10nl is waaaaay diff from 2nl. Assuming it's Stars with the 250bb bi at 2nl.
And that may be some serious nano grinding, but it's nothing compared to a friend of mine. He's probably played around 400k hands at 2nl, 10nl, and 25nl this year.

I play on Stars. Aside from the 250bb bi @ 2NL, what other major differences are there in your opinion? I'm just wondering (& I know I'm a noob & all) b/c I personally don't think there's much of a difference except flops are cheaper obv in 2NL.

if you play your same profitable game at 10nl, you will make $300 much much faster than you did the first time. I think that unless you come across a horrible cooler when you first move up, you will be very very excited and happy about your future.

A decent player will make more at 2nl than 10nl. The play is definitely worse, but most importantly, you buy in for 250bb and nobody adjusts as well as nobody cares about stacking off for $5. 20ptbb is kinda low in that game.
24 table, buy in full, shove AA maybe KK preflop, for the most part shove flop AK TPTK, JJ QQ overpairs, and 2p+. Profit more than you'd expect. At least per my estimation. I haven't actually done that. I did shove AA preflop everytime, and that did very good.

Just outta curiosity, what would you consider a good winrate @ 2NL? I'm wondering b/c I played kinda similar to what you're describing (shoving tptk, overpairs, 2p+), and ran around 15ptbb over ~78k hands (I know I'm nowhere near a decent player yet).

15ptbb sounds about good with taht strat. I haven't played enough at 2nl to know anything other than less than 20ptbb is probably low. I think it's pointless to play it any other way than the fold/shove strat, however.
