i'm dumb when it comes to pokerev. how is this awesome? it looks to me like you are on a 40k breakeven stretch.
and, dean, i may have to call bullshit on your graph. cocco_bill's is even flatter than that one.

I'm being sarcastic. I posted this partly as a representation of EV software and how it doesn't work since according to Sklansky bucks calculations I'm running even, yet am waaaaay down. This is a demonstration of either 1) getting coolered by way of being dealt second best mandatory felt hands and being obviously drawn out on in non-committed pots, or 2) getting raped by better players and simply just folding too much/not bluffing enough/well enough. Well, I'm confident in saying that my expectation is at least as high as the best regs in my game, and even if it isn't the stake is passive/straight forward enough that I wouldn't be losing so much to bluffs in the first place. So it is apparent that I'm just running ridiculously shitty, yet in a way that PokerEV suggests otherwise. I estimate I'm down about 9k in expectation.
Also, the graph just looks real cool. In a stupid way.
And this is the greatest graph of all time, truthfully.

Why not me???

Wuf, you are pretty decent but to suggest that you are running 9k below expectation is probably not right. You've won 13.5k at showdown, but have lost a ton of money in non-showdown pots. If you think you should have made 13.5k through 60k hands that would be running at over 11ptbb at 100nl, which I think is what you play.
The fact that you have won that much in showdown pots is quite remarkable, but usually when your green line is that far below your blue line, it's not really a good thing, but it doesn't have much to do with expectation.
I believe that expectation is more closely linked between the red and blue lines, which are pretty close in your EV graph.

That's what my graphs always looked like until I opened up from like 13/11 to 16/15

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I play 1/2 mainly. Some of this was also 2/4.
The relationship between the red and blue lines only account for a certain amount and kinds of expectation, as I've said. Running normal as a tag in generally passive games always has the green line a certain amount below the blue. My history has shown that would be at around the 12-13k point in this graph.
Also, if you look closely at how the blue and green lines fluctuate you'll notice that the green line is often going down as the blue line goes up. Vs passive players that is indicative of running bad, not playing bad.
And I don't use the EV software. I downloaded it just so I could look at this current stretch because I felt it was the worst I've ever ran. And it is.

Yeesh just as I'm typing this I have an underboat and a big but smaller overpair for stacks vs donkeys. Both of those hands make the green line go down and down while the red line goes up a little even though I played them just fine.
All day.

Your signature is very nice. Aren't you wufwuguy on stars? Man i wish I could find these passive games you are talking about, because they are getting more aggressive every day it seems at 1/2 and 2/4 (passive in the sense that I could get paid off more)
I think I'm just biased because I have not been doing all that well at showdown recently, but I looked again and at least my blue line is positive,

Yea I'm wuf on stars. I think anybody who is less good than me while not being maniacal is passive. I needed a change up so I'm at Tilt right now. Which was apparently a bad move due to riggedness. Games are just as good on Stars as Tilt. Especially now since it seems a handful of tags moved recently. I'm thinking of going back to Stars since there's more room to move up, table select, nits to steal from, and the software doesn't suck. But we'll see.

Oh god I xferred some money onto TIlt and I was timing out like crazy on those tables and it was quite frustrating. I had to go back to stars.
