Still trying to improve my play with AK..
UTG had not been at the table for long but seems TAgg.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Hero ($26.20)
MP2 ($24.35)
CO ($25)
Button ($72.35)
SB ($32.45)
BB ($20.10)
UTG ($45.50)
UTG+1 ($29.40)
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A , K .
UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.2, 2 folds, Button calls $1.20, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.95.
Flop: ($3.95) 4 , 2 , 5 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $2.75, Button folds, UTG calls $2.75.
Turn: ($9.45) 4 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero ???
What is the optimal play here? I have 2 overcards, the gutshot straight draw, and the 2nd nut flush draw. Do you fire a 2nd barrell or check and see the river for free?

Really depends on reads. Without a good read, I lean towards checking.

I check that every time. You probably have a lot of outs and you are probably behind - why bet in that situation when he's letting you see a free card?
