let's see a range, Pel. Let's see yr EV thang.
If it helps, this table has been oddly tight for 25NL. I joined 5 hands ago, and I think 3 of them were a walk for the BB.

So why knowing this would you try to make a move/heroic push? This seems like more of a reason not to.

it's because i suspect villain has picked up on the tightness, and is trying to grab one.

well u can only go all in or fold with these stacks

I think villain just has a hand. You've put $2 in the pot. Let it go. If I have a read on him maybe but you've just sat down. I'm pretty aggro but if you see me cont bet 80% pot with 4 players in the pot, 90% of the time I have at least overpair or AK flush draw

i fold

I'm behind QQ,KK approx 80-20. I'm ahead of AK about the same.
66-TT fold to a raise most of the time.

I frequently fold this preflop but not here. When I first sit down, I try to give a lot of action for awhile, est. a funky image. This inclines me toward a push.

I hate anything but folding.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Well if you want to risk tossing a buyin strictly for image, go right ahead. In this spot the standard play would be either to check/fold or (less commonly) lead/fold to raise + slowdown if called & don't improve.

If you had some particular read on this guy that you felt he could fold an overpair to your push on this board, fine. I don't know jack about this particular player, but from $25 NL in general, the typical player would not fold an overpair to a limp-call preflop, check-push flop play on a two-suited board.

But to answer the question, does it look like he's stealing? Based on his preflop and flop play there isn't anything suspicious whatsoever. That doesn't mean that he isn't stealing, but I would imagine that the chances are 70/30 not stealing (or worse).

What's the point in risking all the money on the feeling that a pair of 5s might be ahead of his range which could very well include 66+ and Jx at 25NL? No one's paying attention so you're not proving anything. They play this dumb when you have a good hand too so dare I say it... pick a better spot.

FWIW I found reads based on a play vs how you would expect it to normally be played are no good at these levels. These are shitty players that don't know the value of their bets or their hands. They defy logic.
