Was it right to go all in with only 2 pair on the flop with this?

Its always right to be the one pushing if you have a bankroll to take the variance.

did you know you had him beat though? couldn't he have flopped trips or a straight? it was stupid of him to call with a straight draw, but what if he had something better?
I'm just asking these questions to learn, you're the one making thousands of dollars!

There is no way I could prove I had him beat I just actually read him and put him on the exact hand he had QJ top pair straight draw so I pushed...its hard to explain as you play thousands of hands you will get better at reading people.

If in fact you read him as jq, why would you push? You know he is going to call after the reraise, and you are going to lose the hand about as much as you win it. You should never push in a 50-50 proposition like that

Definitely wouldn't have pushed on the flop, it was very easy to be beat there (trips/straight/multitude of draws), so I think this push will lose money in the long run.
But hey, it worked for you!

Actually I am a 62 percent favorite and that in not inlcuding all the times that hey may lay the hand down in that position.

Like said before... If you are playing with-in your bankroll and can handle the variance, it is a good move.

Do you calculate this on the fly somehow, or do you just know? Using poker stove I get:
40.4545 % { QhJd }
59.5455 % { JsTs }
So I am interested in how you get 62% and what you calculate with. A link would be good.

What sort of bankroll do you use to support this style of play? Or rather what would you recommend as I suspect your real bankroll is much greater than you're required one?
