Edit: just realized this should have been posted in FR forum. Mods?
Hand 1: Villain is 77/26/2.6 w/ 91% cbet over 120 hands. My notes so far: (1) SOvvL * ; (2) Bets air on river after check-down flop/turn (3) Will barrel 3 streets w/ 93s and air (no FD).
* Means "Stacks off very very light"
What is best line here?
$0.25/$0.5 Deep No Limit Holdem
8 players
Converted at weaktight.com
Stacks:
Hero (UTG) ($67.00)
UTG 1 ($52.15)
MP1 ($92.85)
MP2 ($63.10)
CO ($50.00)
BTN ($50.00)
SB ($51.85)
BB ($39.75)
Pre-flop: ($0.75, 8 players) Hero is UTG
Hero raises to $1.75, 6 folds, BB calls $1.25
Flop: ($3.75, 2 players)
BB bets $2, Hero raises to $6, BB calls $4
Turn: ($15.75, 2 players)
BB bets $5.50, $5.5 to Hero ($59.25)?
Hand 2: Villain is 17/13/4 over 200 hands. No notes, he seems to play basic TAGG w/ 100% cbet. I think worst case is free rolling against AK - be surprised to see any set here. Max profit line?

Yes, I see that. How much? What's the best way to stack these VERY different players?

Hand one is a heavy raise. He'll likely even call an AI here since he only left about $28 behind. I'll probably raise him to $14 and get the rest on the river.
Hand 2 could be harder, but TAGG has already made a good investment in this hand and is not likely to walk away from it easily. I would raise to $22 here, and put him AI on the turn.

Hand 1: I'd just keep up the same raising pattern, 3x or so his donk lead and get it in on any river. This guy is going to call off all his moneys with whatever he has by this point.
Hand 2: Villain could be bluffing you, but IMO he has at least TP/GK. mebbe 2 pairs? doubt it though unless u have a read. IMO you have to raise this flop with the intention of getting it in. if he is bluffing and folds, oh well.
IMHO OC, but then I'm only a 25NL fool so take it fwiw

hand 1 - worth noting that villain has about $27 left after his $5.50 lead. You have to re-raise. Give him room to call though, he won't realise what he's doing to his spr. You're stacking off on any river, so don't leave him odds for gutshot draws. Raise to $19 (psychology like sale prices etc), then get the last $13 on the river.
hand 2 - explain the thought process behind your flop check here please. You must have expected him to bet, and already had a plan. What was it? I normally bet this flop $6.50ish, as played i like a call - check raise looks way too strong here after the pf 3-bet. The only c-r i like is a shove

Hand 1 raise to like 15-18 or just shovel
Hand 2 just call and c/r turn. I dont want him to fold his bluffs or pairs 77-QQ. It is unlely he has a set, but still we have decent equity even if he does. us checking this flop will likely lead him to bluff flop and maybe bluff turn if we check to him.

Yeah, I thought I played this one badly. The c/r line is too strong here, right? I did expect him to bet. He seemed to like taking stabs at flops checked to him. Not every time, but enough to notice. He needs some value to stack off, and if he has good value he's calling the flop or raising it himself.
I was tired - near end of session, and didn't realize how unlikely I was to be facing anything that could beat me. I really don't like my c/r here. I think that scares him off a ton of hands he'd call two streets with.

IMO a check in a threebot pot by the three better and any continuation in the hand (calling bet or raising) screams a monster.

True - we want to get as much chips in as possible while seeming "weak."

We hope to get bet into and call the turn (as nuts and bb suggest) and then get it all in on the river. If he checks behind, we have to bet the river, imo. I think a river shove after a check behind seems more like a bluff at that point than a crai turn.
That said, if he checks behind we end up with $55 effective stacks and a $34 pot, so we bet, what, $20 on the river? I think he calls a good-sized river bet here with a several hands that we beat. Maybe $25, then?
