I was just about to leave this table to play a MTT when I get lucky 77!! I limp and hit trips on the flop but a bunch of psychos start raising like crazy!! Usually, I would push my chips in in a heartbeat but something was telling me someone was on that straight, so I thought and thought and thought, all that thinking just for $15 more! And I decided to muck... Turns out that no one had that straight and everyone was just smoking crack BUT the KK ends up hitting a straight. lol, I'm just happy I didn't call but I know I normally would.

Even though the board would have made me lose, I dunno. I call or push here. NO way I fold.

If someone's on a straight, you can still pair the board sometimes and with that many people in on the raising, you've even got odds to pair hte board.

I'd say one person overpair...one person top pair, maybe two pair. Gutshot straight draw if someone was REALLY loony.

Anyway, just my $.02

yah, that's what i was thinking too. I was thinking I could still hope for the board to pair. I dunno but I usually push on a hand like this, but today, I have no clue why I folded. Looking at it now, it's actually a bad fold, because the runner runner straight was just fluke. But I guess I got lucky, because I would usually push there.

Actually, I just remembered why I folded. It's because with all the big pushes, I actually put someone on either a straight or a higher set since I had the lowest one on the board it didn't seem that powerful.

seeing the outcome it was a great lay down....

but honestly i would have lost alot of money on a fluke straight draw... and wouldn't have faulted myself....

Easy push. There are simply too many reasons why you should push here. In 6max, top pair is pushing, over pair, two pair...

Unless your opponents are aggro with their made hands, I'd also expect a little slowplay from 8-T on that board.
