Raise more preflop (3-5xBB)

Bet more on the flop (pot size? at least half pot size)

Turn was OK.

Fold the river, he gave you blatant red alert signals that he had hit that straight, save yourself few $ and fold it.

Thought I told someone this before who plays on ultimate bet.

Raise more preflop.

The river was your clue to fold your trips ks. even though that is very hard to do. Your bets prior to that like flop to small turn he already had his straight then the river he just pushed all in and u called

I made the same mistake trying to lead someone on when I flopped a strong set. Raise more preflop, bet more on the flop. Your mistake seems to always be missed bets or underbets.

For future reference, don't post the results to get less biased responses.

What they said.

Bet a bit more preflop.

I don't mind the play on the flop- you want to string him along and hope that the scare card like the 10 does not show up.

You must have the sense to lay down the set on the river facing that bet and that board.

Don't worry, next time the poker gods will fill you up on the river and you will crush his str8.
Send lawyers, guns and money - the sh*t has hit the fan!
