Went out with this hand. I had just won a decent sized pot to come back a little bit the hand before, but I was still way short stacked. My thinking pre-flop was KJo isn't that great, especially UTG, so I would limp. I think now my thinking should have been go all-in preflop or fold it. Opinions? Also, what is everyone's thoughts on playing the 84o out of the small blind? I know it's a huge multi-way pot, but is this basically an automatic fold. This same guy won a hand later playing Axo. Why does it seem like stupid play is rewarded so often?

With so many calls and he was on the SB, it wasn't completely stupid to limp in. I would have raised the pot preflop.

Plus the antes. The SB was 14:1 (I think) to play. Pushing from UTG with TPMK and 4 preflop limpers yet to act was pretty ballsy. There's a lot of trouble that could be lurking out there, like pocket 8's, pocket 4's or hands that dominate KJ. Even Axh could call there with 12 outs and have decent odds.
