raise more on the flop, lead the turn strong. If he's still in the hand, his river push wouldn't be much more money to call, so it becomes an easy call.
Why raise the flop .5? It's never folding anyone out and it's just telling your opponent that you're building a pot.

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

If you're playing any hand short-handed like that I'd like to raise with it, so a preflop raise would be good here.
Smooth call the flop.
Raise the turn more.
Any more chips to go in on the river.

nealarm calls [$18.35].
nealarm shows [ 7c, 5h ] three of a kind, sevens.
cjahjoker shows [ Kd, 7h ] three of a kind, sevens.
cjahjoker wins $58.7 from the main pot with three of a kind, sevens with king kicker.
Game #1566467676 starts.
I wouldn't have guessed he had that.

Why be in on this hand preflop? Let it go and at the least wait for a suited connector, mixing it up is fine, but like dwarfman stated if your going to play a hand like this raise preflop.

It was 3 handed, he was in the small blind. He figures to be a coinflip against an equally bad hand.

i suppose the only thing you could have done here then would have been to raise preflop, Mr. K7 is going to call you all the way down to the river after the flop, so preflop looks like the only option where a change could have been made. I highly dought he would be willing to lay this down to the turn or river.
