From last nights visit to DTD
1/2nl 9 handed. Game has lots of soft spots at the other end of the table, regularly there is someone all in after flop, preflop has been quite passive unless a couple of the decent TAGGY players to my left have opened. Im stuck about £250 at this point.
Fwiw, villain has been limping quite a bit, ive seen him iso-raise once with an ace vs the fishies, but later on i found out he plays professionally and plays 'some' 2/4nl 3/6nl online (raking $1200 per month if this helps understand his calibre)
Hero UTG £275
Villain BB Covers
Straddled by Hero
Two callers in mp, sb completes, BB completes i look down and check with
Flop is :Qh: (Pot £16)
checked all the way round
Turn is
Fishy kid in sb bets £8, bb calls, i make it £32 straight (very quickly) all fold including SB back to BB.
He asks how much im playing, then makes it £91. Miff
Whats our plan?
(fwiw, as soon as he asked my stack size i knew what was coming and what my decision would be)

Id like to understand why you think i called turn and then any river bet.
Also, i kind of feel posting a Two pair vs a set hand history is kinda trivial these days as most spots like those are now 'standard'
This was much different, or at least felt so with board etc.

lol how doyou make $1200 a month at 2/4 and 3/6? If you play that little or have such a little edge that you only make 2 or 3 buy-ins in a month then the variance is going to be ridiculous so he seems to be fos about that.
His line is so retarded.... I want to say shove but idk. I think I would call and call a shove on a safe river.. He probably has like T8o but the are a fuck ton of draws and worse two pairs that he could have.

rakeback dude on the $1200.
Im not shoving because worse hands dont call. Also, i felt the fish was just splashing therefore i interpreted the bet as a check raise even though its a call/3bet

whats your table image? tight stragihtforward or tricky? Did villain c/r real hand or play tricky before? Normally, i give up my hand in passive small pot games when ppl play back like this. By the way, I have some live opponents who love to c/r with combo draws on the turn, so i just shove over, laugh and make their life difficult.

Certainly tight, but not overly aggressive. However, table realises im running bad after KK<QQ and AA<777 (both huge beats)
