I took down a pot and the guy claimed to have Pocket 8's. When I checked the history he had Pocket 3's. I thought about calling him on it but I just let it go. Anyone ever call someone out on their lie? How did they take it?

I have told those lies and have had those lies told to me.

It's part of the game. If you can't lie, you shouldn't be playing poker.

Normally in that situation, I realize I did something stupid and try to cover by saying I had a better hand than I did.

I've called out liars before. I'll post that bit of hand history that reveals their mucked cards. It'll sometimes put them on tilt, which is my goal.

seeing as your playing Poker I would expect a few lies here and there.

Let them lie all they want, don't bother calling them on it. Just let them lie as you stack their chips.
