I had a horrific day today. A lot of hands I analyzed afterward and I'm sure I played them fine, but just got bad beated/coolered. A few hands I'm similarly sure I played god-awful =[ Then there are a bunch ranging from "I think this was probably bad" to "I have no idea wtf to do here" and these are the ones I'm about to post. Most of them I lost, ldo, some of them I folded, and some of them I actually won.

I've got 8 hands to share, which is a lot, so I'm splitting this into two parts.

HAND 1

Villain is 20/4/1 over small sample

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP1 ($196)
MP2 ($194.95)
MP3 ($194)
Hero (CO) ($243.60)
Button ($33.50)
SB ($163)
BB ($200)
UTG ($320.40)
UTG+1 ($370.45)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 9
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $2, 3 folds, Hero raises to $9, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls $7

Flop: ($21) 2, K, 9 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $13.50, UTG+1 calls $13.50

Turn: ($48) Q (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $32, UTG+1 raises to $64, Hero...

HAND 2

Villain 31/11/2 over small sample. I just realized that I overbet the flop slightly, which must have been the scrollwheel on my mouse acting up again. He instashoved over my bet.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($30.75)
UTG+1 ($225.45)
MP1 ($394.05)
MP2 ($248)
Hero (CO) ($197)
Button ($273.60)
SB ($166.15)
BB ($205.30)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, A
UTG calls $2, UTG+1 calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $10, 3 folds, UTG calls $8, UTG+1 calls $8

Flop: ($33) 10, K, Q (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $38, 1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $215.45 (All-In), Hero...

HAND 3

Villain looks nitty over a small sample, less than 2 orbits. By the end of the session I have him at 11/7/2. Comment on all streets please. IMO probably fold either on flop or river due to nittiness.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP1 ($94.25)
MP2 ($111.70)
MP3 ($105.85)
CO ($187.80)
Button ($306.65)
SB ($197)
BB ($77.70)
Hero (UTG) ($205.05)
UTG+1 ($174.55)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 10, 10
Hero raises to $8, 6 folds, SB calls $7, 1 fold

Flop: ($18) 8, 6, 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB raises to $25, Hero calls $15

Turn: ($68) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($68) 2 (2 players)
SB bets $35, Hero calls $35

Total pot: $138 | Rake: $3

HAND 4

Villain 44/26/1. Original raiser had a high cbet% and donkey stats, I was planning a flop checkraise. I considered a fold pre due to small stack sizes but with them being donks, the raise small, and the game shorthanded, I called. Comment on all streets please.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($60)
UTG ($38)
MP ($99.05)
CO ($53)
Button ($105.15)
Hero (SB) ($200)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7, 8
2 folds, CO raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero calls $3, BB calls $2

Flop: ($12) 8, 8, 10 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO checks

Turn: ($12) J (3 players)
Hero bets $9, BB calls $9, 1 fold

River: ($30) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $20.50, BB raises to $47 (All-In), Hero calls $26.50

Total pot: $124 | Rake: $3

I got half-way through hand 1 and wondered why you were even posting the hands.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Possibly because the terrible session is messing with my self-confidence.

Even if they're simple, I still appreciate comments.

Come to think, I've made similar posts in the past after bad sessions. Possibly a bad idea and I don't mind it being pointed out.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Hand 1: I'm sticking it in, he could easily have KQ here, pair + draw type of hands
Hand 2: I'm folding because whatever he has beats a pair
Hand 3: Hands that you're ahead of - 99 exactly/bluffs/semi-bluffs
if you call the flop, you should call the river, imo because all of his flop range just missed
Hand 4: Dump preflop, if anything because you have shitty position so things like the flop happen. Reading the board we know that river card didn't improve his hand, he improved either on the flop or the turn. But the raise is so small you can't really fold since he's short-stacked. I'd pot it on the turn because I feel like with this board a lot more hands pay me off.

Agreed, except one thing...
In hand 2, why would you want to bet half pot? (checking back is fine, and I would have thought betting 3/4 pot is fine too).

Incidentally, I think given your read and the miniraise preflop, playing 87s was fine and you played the hand well as long as you folded that river.

I think this type of post complicates tilt and isn't good for you long-term.
