First of all, this was the greatest rush of cards I have ever seen in one hour....felt good. These are my key hands during the hour, But I want to make sure I am playing my hands correctly when i get them to maximize profits.

What I was thinking........

#1:....obviously I had the best hand with no draws on the board, did I overplay?

#2:....I think I was looking to take the pot there or make him make a mistake with all the draws on the board.

#3:...OESD with the nut straight draw...and he had been buying many pots....wasnt sure what I should do so I laid it down.

#4:....Same guy I thought was trying to buy again...geuss I was right but was it smart?

#5:....stuck around, but was beat to a club draw taking some of my outs...should I have chased?

#6:....This person was the biggest rock I had ever seen and I wasnt sure how to play it....realized I gave the flush on the river very cheap after the hand, but actually I think she thought I made my flush. I think I played this bad.

Thanks to all who reply in advance good or bad. Just a newb trying to get better.

looks like you are doing alright to me. I think i would reraise that guy when you had the OESD+flush draw with the bully read on him. I just do not allow anyone but me to be the jerk at the table.

Firsthand I'd say your re-raise was too weak, if h's prepared to raise preflop you can probably get a lot more out of him than you asked for. Furthermore after the flop he might be less inclined to drop his hand because of the bigger pot.

Second hand I think is fine, you don't want to risk him getting a draw too cheap to the flush. I'd have done the same I think. Though preflop I'd be inclined to just call unless I was going to represent whatever flopped.

Third hand, if you're so sure he's buying all those pots put a hefty re-raise in, so long as you have a solid reputation at the table you can represent whatever hits the flop, but he'l likely fold the re-raise

Fine I say, he played a soft raise and you most likely had him beat, unless he hit a cheap rag, which obviously he didn't this time. Statistically I'd guess it's profitable over time.

Number 5. First of all, fold, it's a rubbish hand. Only play it if you put in a nice raise and represent through.
after that you did just scrape the pot odds after the flop so you were right to call. after that it was cheap enough to draw.

The 6th. Play Aces harder than that. A bigger bet preflop, it pays in the long run. After the flop; I can understand slow playing the trips, but with a 2nd diamond apearing I'd have bet hard to stop a draw on the flush. Don't give people that opportunity.

Well there you go, I'm no expert myself so a future poster migght well blow out my comments, but that's what I'd suggest.

Thanks for the replys so far.....looking back Yes, I probably should have played the KK, and AA harder than I did.......

on the 45s..... with 7 people in....I thought it would be worth a $0.10 flop

Also if I re-raise him when I think hes buying and he calls...or reraises...then what from there?...check/fold?

Thanks

At these limits when raising, always lean to the higher sidc of the spectrum because people will call alot.

Also, i wouldn't reccomend raising small pocket pairs like 66 pre-flop, you can call raises with them, but you want to see as cheap a flop as possible and try to hit your set.

Yah....I will probably start raising much more with those premium hands....and on the 66...I dont know what I was thinking at the time, I think my head got big from the rush I was on.....I wasnt able to post one hand history where I hit a set of 7's as well.

45s certainly worth playing in that spot. DO NOT raise here. Opening the pot maybe raise, with this many in you're in the perfect spot to limp.

I have no issue really with any of these hands, the AA on the end I think you need to raise a bit more on the turn, either they guy has the draw and you want to make him pay, or he's got a 9 and or PP better than 9 and he may come with you. Either way he's not going to call a big bet on the end with this small of a pot.
