First time playing MP2. He was 37/17 over 30-ish hands.

I probably would have played this the same.
Nuts on the turn.
Dick on the river.

NH. But gabe has a good point, that if BB is a regular, he probably has a set.

BB folded. MP2 flipped over AhJh for trips on the river. Glad I didn't hit the flush

if the bb is a regular why is he sat with half a stack? That instantly means 'fish' to me at these stakes.

You are right miff, didnt really notice BBs stack.

but gabes point is still valid, raises in these spots are only good if you have FE and you arent up against a set that will call an allin.

I think gabe was referring to MP2. I was calculating that he would fold, not reraise a/i, but given his stack I'm silly to fold once I've raised. But I think I should've saved this move for a HU/last to act situation.
