Not many hands with villian. However, I've seen him limp AK UTG before. I think he was running something around 32/5/1 which is why I raised his limp. (well, that and position of course). The turn fold now feels silly considering my pot odds, i think.

Honestly, the main reason I made this fold is to cut down on big losses. I'm sacrificing those small +ev/-ev decisions for the sake of variance.

Deanglow is on a distinguished road
This is a very easy bet/call and it looks like you are making poor decisions from running bad

yea, it has to stop. But even given my reads of his passivity post flop, this is a call? What's my plan for the turn?

I let my bankroll management worry about variance. Why are you folding this?

villian has been a complete nit post-flop. He has re-raised maybe once. And I know he limps monsters UTG and folds them when they miss the flop. I know because he enjoyed showing his "brave" laydowns, though he didn't show after this hand. That said, I can put him squarely on a Kx hand, mostly weighted toward AK given our little history. If not AK, 55 and 88 feel likely as well. I do not feel that he will flip over KQ, KJ, KT or FD often enough given my aggression and his passiveness, wouldn't he C/call down all streets?

note: i was tilting...

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Nuts is being sarcastic, if your read is that he limps ak and various other big hands utg then isoing with kq isnt ideal. Yet tbh this guy is playing 32 percent of his hands so I still iso raise like you did everytime.

I read an article on here about raising after limpers. I think spoony wrote it. And it stated that when players have a big gap between VPIP and PFR, especially when they fold to cbets too much, that we should raise them more marginally if the blinds aren't too willing to get involved. If this guy is limping monsters and semi-trash all over the table, but folding to cbets when he misses the flop, it seemed ideal to iso him and cbet most/all flops.

I guess the real problem preflop is debating whether to raise against villain's wide limping range (monsters included), versus folding this hand altogether.
