Do you raise this guy like I did or do you lay those kings down believing he has aces? Villain is fairly unknown, he just sat at table.. looks like standard TAG to me so far, he has done nothing unusual or out of line.

If you think that someone could do this with aces and only aces, then you should fold. But think of all the other hands that could do this. QQ? JJ? Maybe even 66? The chances of Aces are highest I believe, but I'd say there's at least a 50% chance that it could be one of the others. So if that's true, then the call is +EV.

Once you call the preflop reraise you are committed to going broke on a flop like this since you don't have implied odds to hit a K. Without a more solid read, I probably play it the same as you and go broke if he had AA.

go broke.
Only other way to play it is maybe to raise to 180-220? and if he pushes then fold and only lose half a stack. If he cold calls then you are basically losing the stack on that flop anyway.

Theres not enough room to manoever to be able to fold this. No choice but go broke I think.

well played.

if I hold QQ, I can find a laydown in this hand. Not Cowboys though.

Exactly, so why wouldn't the opponet be folding with QQ here?

I dunno if I'd fold or not but its definetly worth considering.

because QQ is a flip vs AK and only donks get all in with AK.
Therefore you pretty much have to beleive that QQ no good here. With AA and KK i think you get it all in preflop and dont ask questions. If you reraise preflop here with QQ and get pushed on then i think you can find a fold. With KK think sometimes you might but id rather just push and go broke

i WOULD EITHER PUSH PREFLOP OR FOLD. You have obviously worked hard to get to $900;don't let some donk take half your earnings for the day because you got overaggressive with KK.I made that mistake with QQ against a rock after doubling up and subsequently lost to KK and lost my sanity.

Don't push preflop. You're letting QQ (AK) escape then.

There's no way you're getting away from this flop.

If you have a very strong read Villain could only do this with KK/AA, then fold preflop.

i think the aa v kk argument is played out, but i can't help but restate, people just don't reraise full ring enough without aces to make it worth testing them. i'm folding here early and often.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch
