Ok well this is a standard spot but I just thought I would post b/c I've been getting in a shitton of these spots lately and want to make sure my thought process is ok.
Villain is 9/7 over 500 with a 5% 3B
Reads:
One hand he opened AQ in LP and checked 3 Streets unimproved
In another hand he c/min raised with Q-6 on QQ6 in bb
So I guess that these hands suggest that he's nitty and he's generally not betting without the goods.
Here's the hand:
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
MP1 ($54)
MP2 ($50)
MP3 ($95.10)
CO ($30.50)
Button ($53.25)
SB ($91.15)
BB ($70.90)
UTG ($24.25)
Hero (UTG+1) ($50)
Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with ,
1 fold, Hero bets $2, MP1 calls $2, 6 folds
Flop: ($4.75) , , (2 players)
Hero bets $3.50, MP1 raises to $9.25, Hero folds
Total pot: $11.75 | Rake: $0.55
I figured he could be flatting QQ+ here pre since I'm UTG+1 and I'm pretty sure he'd just call draws. Even though he's repping sets and AA I still tanked and folded. Shouldn't this be a fistpump fold?

Based on the read you have on him, sounds like this is 66, 88, QQ, KK, AA.
It is definitely possible for A player to have AhKh, but I don't see this player making this play with AhKh.
So fistpump fold IMO because you are dominated by his range.

Why does he ever have KK+ here?

I don't think I'd just fold on the flop. You give these guys too much credit for raising with a huge hand.I played 50NL for a while but saw these nits raise TPTK more often. Also, they tend to slowplay sets for some reason.I might call one street and reevaluate his bet sizing on the turn.BTW,I insta fold AQ though.

because not everyone 3bets these hands 100%. granted KK and AA are less likely than AQ, but i wouldnt rule them out entirely
